The October Roundup

What an exciting 2 months it’s been for us here at Scuba-tec. So here is our October roundup to fill you in on what’s been going on!

Rescue Diver Course

rescue1We have had a fantastic turn out for our Rescue Diver course in October, with Brynn, Chris, Clint, Dan, Simon and Tom braving the cooling Stoney Cove waters to practice their skills from the pool sessions and complete the scenarios to become Rescue Divers. Have a look at our gallery to see all the pictures from their course! The Rescue diver course is one of the best PADI courses you can take, so if you are interested, head over to theRescue Diver course page and take a look!

EFR – Emergency First Response

erf-martinCongratulations  to Tom, Simon and Kate for completing their EFR – Emergency First Response course last month. This course teaches Primary and Secondary care to students so they can use this knowledge with their Rescue Diver course, or just in general. You also get to bandage up the Scuba-tec team as well which Martin looks like he enjoyed! 🙂

PADI Seal Team

post-padi-seal-teamCharlie completed his PADI Seal Team course last month and is now a PADI Seal Team member, which involved him completing his weekly AquaMissions in our Thursday night pool sessions! Charlie was a fantastic student and we are looking forward to when he can come back and do his Open Water course with us in a few years time! You can see how Charlie got on in our gallery.

Discover Scuba Diving Sessions

dsd1dsd2We have had the pleasure of taking some newbie bubblers through their DSD sessions last month. Chelsie, Dylan and Emma took their first dip under the water and all seemed to enjoy the experience! We look forward to welcoming them back if they decide to take their Scuba diving to the next level and progress to a full Open Water course. We also welcomed Nicole on her DSD which was made extra special with Steve’s underwater dancing routine! We look forward to seeing you again for a future course Nicole!

Scuba-tec Social Night

social-curry-nightDon’t forget to join us for our Curry night on the 10th November! We will be heading over to the Kajal Indian Cuisine for a cheeky poppadom or two. Everyone is welcome so feel free to message us and we will book you a spot on our table!
